As a card-maker, you’d think that I would be very organized with who I’m making cards for… list of recipients, etc. Well, typically I AM, but there’s always someone I’ve forgotten: a new friend, someone obvious that I don’t think I needed to write down… lol. So I’m always jumping back in to make a few extras. So I bring you my FINAL scrapbooking Christmas card of the season! I hope you like where my holiday inspiration took me!
Materials:
(All Close to My Heart unless stated)
Paper: Snowhaven paper pack
Ink: Cranberry
Stamp: Be Jolly (hostess stamp)
Accessories: Silver Shimmer Trim, 3D foam tape, Red Enamel Hearts
The card was actually very easy to put together, it just took a bit of cutting! There are three layers of cardstock on the outside (blue, red, and white) and then an inner layer of four pieces of patterned paper. For the inner layers, I just took one piece of 2.8″ x 4.8″ paper, and cut it into four pieces. If you cut all four patterned papers in the same spots , then one of each piece will fit perfectly onto four cards.
You can see in this first picture that the patterned papers are on opposite sides of the cards so that I didn’t waste any pieces!
I added a little shimmer to the top of the card for Christmas :)
I used 3D foam tape to help the sentiment rise up a bit, and added some fun red enamel hearts to decorate the card.
Hope you found some inspiration from these cards :)
